The End

So, this is the end, I have to say that this has been and interesting experience, create a blog, and learn how to use it, I mention this because, before this class I had never used a blog.
Summarizing this experience, I must tell you, that the post that I most enjoyed was the one when we have to write about a travel that we had made. That reminded me the wonderful time I spend with my family, and made me think of what great travels that we have made together, because, for that post, I just had to choose one of the trips we have made,  and pick my favorite one, but I remember others ones, when I was little, but are only photographs in my mind.
I have not a post that has not liked to write, every topic was a different way to get to know each other, a different part of our history and who we are, but in all the post, the most difficult to write was the one where we have to talk about what do we want to learn, because, there is so much things that I want to learn! And only pick one!
Talking about my classmates blogs, in my opinion, the blog of Angelica, is very interesting and is the one I have read the most, a very good thing about Angelica is that she always comment in my blog, so she is very participate, and I appreciate that.
What I like the most about create and used a blog, was share my experiences with other people,  and that other people share with me their experiences and tastes, and so mucho other things.
What I most dislike was that in the beginning of the class I didn’t know how to used, so started being very confused to me, but is great learn how to used new things, and thing that would be useful in the future.

A Special Website: Pinterest

I found this website no so much long ago, I discovered in the Appstore, was one of the most downloaded apps for iphone, so I downloaded and figure out for myself what it’s about. 

 

 

For my surprise, this app (also a website) has become one of my top sites, I everyday check for new things. 

Pinterest is a pinboard-style social photo sharing website that allows users to create and manage theme-based image collections such as events, interests, hobbies, and so much more. in this site you can find categories like Art, Technology, Animals, Architecture (very cool photographs of interesting architecture), Cars, Science, Food, Sports, Design, Photography, History, Kids, Nature, Travel, and others. but my favorites ones are Humor, Fashion, Beauty and Crafts, here I find very cool ideas for fashion styles, and hairstyles, and of course ideas for decorate my bedroom.

One of the most things that I can recommend for this site, is the cool ideas to make things myself, made from easy to find materials, or recycling things you no longer use, like old t-shirts, or old wood boards, in Pinterest you can find tutorials for use this things and made beautiful things, my favorites are the ideas for decoration for bedrooms, like wall painting, r little things that will make the room special, like homemade candles, or lamps, or anything, that is the most cool thing about Pinterest, you cand find EVEREYTHING! 

I recommend all of you visit this site, if you don’t know yet.

Calypso

I really enjoy eating in a restaurant of Italian food, a trattoria called Calypso. This restaurant is in Cajón del Maipo, far away of the noisy and dirty air of Santiago. There you can find incredible views, directly to the Cordillera de los Andes, full of vegetation, beautiful trees, and flowers, is a sanctuary.

The only problem is that is very far, and you have to get there in car, in a travel of 45 min aprox. but, sincerely the food, and the place worth it. A friend of my father recommend to him this place, and told him that is “a gorgeous place with an exquisite food”, so we went to find out, and he was right. I don’t remember when was the first time I went there, but I believe it was like 6 years ago, since then we go for special occasions, or when we had the mood to travel 45 minutes, to eat a delicious food.

I really like this place because there plant and harvest all the ingredients for their menu, there have their own olives, tomato plants, lettuce and various spices, so everything is natural and healthy. Also, the owner make the pasta, so everything is craft production, delicious! What I really like to eat where I go there is any type of pasta, like raviolli, or gnoqui, or fetuccini, but always with the Noci sauce, which is delicious!!! Also the natural juices, and the deserts are amazing, like the pannacotta with raspberry sauce. I think the last time I went there was like 2 months ago, with my sister and my mother, I don’t remember what are we celebrated on that occasion, but I remember the good time we spend together, talking and enjoying the beautiful views and the tasty food. I totally recommend this place!

Makeup

Something that I would like to learn is how to makeup profesional, I know that is sound kind of superficial, or silly, but is really something that I like, I always thought that the make up in a woman is very beautiful, when you done correctly, but, when you don’t know what are you doing, the results can be terrorific! Like a scary movie hahaha I would like to learn it, for, in the future, makeup brides and people for another social events. I really think is kind of a hobbie, that I really enjoy, thinking and matching colors, and textures. I learned watching tutorials on youtube, and Reading some magazines, and trying to experiment on my face, or in my sister face hahaha. I love use some strongest colors, for parties, and use a different look for every occasion, depending of the tipe of party, and what clothing are you using.
My mother actually is in a academy for professional make up, and she is teaching me some tips that I didn’t know before, so is so cool be learning new thing each day. And I realized that it is more work than I thought!!
All of the models that you see in the magazines, whith the eyes full of black, or fluorescent colors, is a incredible job! Is like painting a master piece hahaha. But I really would like to learn some day how make up professionaly, and use that like a hobbie, but well done.

Turkey

I would like to visit Turkey, because I’ve heard that is a beautiful place, full of culture, where you can find little shops, like bazars, and you can found unique things, so different that all we know. I would like walk around the city of Estambul, and get to know all the history, the ancient Constantinopla, all the unique and awesome architecture, the Hagia Sophia mosque. the city is full of history, charm, is one of my dreams is someday travel there. There I will love to see some palace, like  the Topkai Palace, where used to live the sultan, and his Harem,  other thing to see is the ruins of Constantinopla, like the Byzantine Hippodrome. Some museums, for example, the Turkish & Islamic Arts Museum. And Of course, the shopping, I will love go to the Grand Bazaar, the Egyptian Market, where you can find spices, and other most common shopping, that you can find on the streets.
The exotic food, the clothe, the language, all of that, and more, make this place unique in the all world!
Other thing to mention, is that Turkey has some of the most beautiful beaches in the world! I really dream about stay there for 2 months, and enjoy all of Turkey has to offer…

Disney

When I was 8 years old, my father and my mother decided to make a travel to USA, as a gift for my sister and me. The idea was arrive to Miami and stay there a few days, there we enjoyed the greats and beautiful beaches for Miami Beach and visited a friend of my father, who joined us to the next destiny, Disney World in Orlando. We get there in car, and travel took like 4 hours, my sister and I was so anxious to get there! Imagine! Two girls of 5 and 8 years waiting to arrive to Disneyland! I remember that the first thing I saw, were the big letters of Disneyland in the main entrance, was amazing! Later that day we stayed in the hotel, to get rest and organize everything for the next day. The park that I most remember of that travel is Magic Kingdom, and how the name says, all around there is magical! See my favorite princess when I was 8 years old, it’s a experience that every girl in the world should have! I also remember the absolutely wonderful parade, where all of the characters of Disney appears and dance, I was dreaming.  A funny thing, today, Magic Kingdom is the most boring park for me, instead, Epcot Center or Hollywood Studios are my favorites, because there are the rolling coasters (but Universal have most great rolling coasters, for people who like adrenalin and very strongest experiences). Disney is, and will always be a very special memory for me, because is when me and my family shared the most great moments together. 

A photograph

I love this picture because it shows how my sister and I, have always been very close, also I really like the color of the photograph because it looks old, like in sepia, love it! makes me feel it has so much history behind!! 

This photograph was taken in Termas de Huife in the south of Chile, on a vacation we took as a family. The place was absolutly wonderful, full of vegetation, like a forest. I remember the pools of hot termal water, so relaxing, all the people enjoyed the nature, and the incredibles views.

My father took the picture, I think because for him it was funny that my sister and I were drinking Coca Cola in swimsuits hahaha, very cute.

The most important thing to me in the photograph it’s see me next to my little sister, 3 years younger than me, she is my joy, my company, my friend, and the most wonderful gift that God could give me, I love her, and this shows that I am and I will always be by her side

At that age (and another years later too) she did everything just like me, it was like have two shadows hahaha, she always did the same thing than me, and followed me everywhere, a funny fact, is that today I follow her, and ask her opinión about everything hahaha, is my counselor, my little sister is my counselor!!!

 When I see the photograph, comes to my mind a Coca Cola commercial!!! Don’t you?
